Scorpio Necklace

This whimsical necklace is created with all those Scorpios out there in mind, with its carved onyx scorpion. To create the pendant, I handstitch gold coated Japanese glass beads around the cabochon to create a bezel. I finish the back with me, and made Ultrasuede for style and comfort, and I hung the pendant from a strand of seed, pearls and more gold. The findings are 14 karat gold filled for no tarnish, and the necklace is an adjustable 18+ inches.
