Sanibel Necklace
This necklace is created by using bead embroidery techniques. Gold coated Japanese glass beads are hand stitched around, found objects to create the stunning bib style necklace. The found objects in this piece are calico shells that were collected off of Sanibel Island’s beaches in Florida. The focal gemstone is a chunky Chrysoprase cluster. Rare green kyanite and stick pearls along with more gold beads create a seaweed like effect, as fringe, along the bottom of the necklace. The back is finished with ultra suede for comfort and style as well as a chain with more gems. This slightly adjustable necklace is 22” in length of fit. This is an heirloom quality piece and over 126 hours went into designing and creating this piece.
