Kauai Sunrise Shell and Tanzanite Falling Water Necklace
I created this handmade piece of jewelry by beading gold coated Japanese glass beads around a Kauai sunrise shell. Sunrise shells are indigenous to Hawaii and are a type of scallop called Langford’s Pectin, which are a delicacy to local octopus. They are loved for their colors and rarity, are considered a gemstone of Hawaii, and were worn by royalty in the original Hawaiian Kingdom.
This Fallingwater necklace is made using 14 karat gold filled chain and faceted Tanzanite. The back of the shell is Ultra suede for comfort and style and the necklace is an adjustable 17 inches.
