Carnelian scarab ring

I created this ring out of wax and then it was casted into solid silver.  The raw casting is then burnished, patinated, polished, and I set the stone. The stone used in this ring is a rare carved vintage, carnelian. The scarab beetle in Egyptian folklore represents fortune, and good luck, as well as rebirth and new beginnings. This ring is size 8.
