Carnelian Gypsea Necklace

This necklace is started by using bead embroidery techniques. A bezel is hand stitched around a large and juicy Carnelian Crystal cluster using gold coated Japanese glass beads. Then, I strung a smattering of gemstones(citrine, carnelian, serpentine) to leather cording. It is connected to gold filled chain with 14 karat gold filled findings.  The back of the crystal is finished with ultra suede, a man-made fabric that holds up to the elements and this piece is an adjustable 26 inches long.
