Banded Amethyst Necklace

This design was created by carving the bezel out of wax, and then casting it into solid silver. The pendant is then annealed, polished, and then the stone is set. The stone in this piece is a very interesting and unique banded amethyst. It has some really interesting color variations that I’ve never seen in an amethyst before.
The pendant is then set on a sterling silver chain and it is an adjustable 18 inches with an extender chain and amethyst finishing the end.
